The new year is quickly approaching and this is the time where I try to nail down things that I want to incorporate into my 2016. I attempt to reflect on what worked and what did not. I believe we’ve established what did not. I survived the holiday and am looking forward to these next few days as I organize spaces in my house to allow all of the family to live a better year.Today I’ve created a few digital downloads for Bullet Journaling that I created with my daughter in mind!
Bullet Journaling…this will keep me sane this year. I really am looking forward to this year’s planning–especially sharing this skill with my kids. A planned life is an intentional life. The kids seemed to really love the notebook journals that I acquired for them and requested a few additional printables. While my son wanted to create his own month spread, my daughter felt a template or two would be helpful.
I created a few pages this weekend that I hope you will find useful! This first one is a what in Bullet Journal [BuJo] folks call a monthly log. I’ve numbered it for the big months [31 days] so that it can accommodate ALL months…my thought is on months with less you can cover up the extra days with some washi tape. This page is created to be punched on the left. The box beside the date number is to place weekday abbreviations in [M-T-W-T-F-S-S].
While making lined pages I also made a set of generic lined pages with a title box for the top…this can be used for lots of things, extra notes, handwriting practice, goal planning, whatever. Even though my daughter was equipped with an entire package of squared paper, she wanted some like this for writing.
Finally she needed a monthly template that mimicked a traditional calendar, with spaces for notes or whatever she wanted to add. I designed this with the idea of having a space for the month, space for a quote, space for goals or notes…a key. I like the extra space on the right and bottom margins to add notes to myself.
After designing this last page I thought, “that would be fun for monthly doodle challenge that PassionThemedLife.com hosts on Instagram [#ptldoodles]!” What a great little challenge to inspire creativity in your Bullet Journal! Join along with me in January as I attempt to create a daily doodle–you can follow me on Instagram here!
Thank you for stopping by! Please leave some love if you like my printables and share on my facebook fan page how you used them! I’d love to see your work!
